To ensure the perfect suspension, we test every developed kit in our 7-position driving dynamics center and carry out extensive driving tests on country roads, highways and even on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. For years, the KW coilover Variant 3 "inox-line" has been one of the top products on the aftermarket and a benchmark in the suspension market. This kit is based on our long-standing experience as a manufacturer and supplier of suspensions for international motorsports such as the ADAC GT Masters touring car series, FIA GT1, FIA GT3, International GT Open, WTC, VLN and the legendary ADAC Zurich 24 Hours Nürburgring.
As with our coilovers from the KW Competition program, the KW coilover Variant 3 "inox-line" allows separate and independent adjustment of the rebound and compression forces. This individual adjustment possibility is highly appreciated by sports car manufacturers, tuners and drivers all over the world.
The perfect suspension for your driving pleasure
If you have already made the first performance or aesthetic modifications to your car, our KW coilover Variant 3 will perfectly complement your conversions. The patented KW valve with separate adjustment technology for the rebound and compression forces allows an individual set-up of your suspension. The KW valve in the lower part regulates the low compression speeds with 12 clicks.
No specific wrench is needed for compression adjustment thanks to the patented adjustment washer inserted in the lower part of the stainless steel strut. Thanks to the 12 clicks of compression adjustment you can manually influence the pitch of the car without changing the characteristics of the springs that adapt well to the value of the extension forces.
By increasing the extension force via the adjustment wheel, the roll is reduced, gaining greater contact of the vehicle with the road and easier control of the car on fast stretches and curves. For example, by changing the wheel/tyre combination (as per the vehicle registration document) with wider rims, with a KW Variant 2 coilover you can better adapt the combination between the wheels and the suspension.
Thanks to the adjustment of the rebound damper calibration with our KW Variant 3 "inox_line" coilovers you can have more influence on the handling and comfort of the car through the 16 precise clicks.
Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valve of the KW twin-tube shock absorbers is adjusted at the upper end of the piston rod with an integrated adjustment wheel or with an Allen screw adjuster integrated into the package.
