For drivers who want more than just the look and lowering in a TÜV-approved range from a suspension, we have the perfect solution with our KW Variant 2 “inox-line” coilover suspension. There are many good reasons to buy our KW Variant 2 suspensions, not only the stainless steel struts or the durable, corrosion-resistant components, but also the possibility to adjust the rebound damper setting according to your needs (with 16 clicks of adjustment).
More comfort or more sportiness - you decide!
As with all KW coilover suspensions, our engineers develop the shock absorbers with vehicle-specific settings after extensive test cycles at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in our 7-station dynamic test center. With a KW coilover suspension, driving becomes more dynamic and direct. By adjusting the rebound damper calibration with our KW Variant 2 coilovers, you can have more influence on the handling and comfort of your vehicle. You can adjust the KW shock absorbers with 16 precise clicks (harder or softer) without affecting the compression valve located at the bottom.
Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valve of the KW twin-tube shock absorbers is adjusted at the upper end of the stem with an integrated adjustment wheel or with an Allen key regulator integrated into the package. By increasing the rebound force via the adjustment wheel, the body roll is reduced, gaining more contact of the vehicle with the road and easier control of the car on fast sections and curves. For example, by changing the wheel/tire combination (as per the vehicle registration document) with wider rims, with a KW Variant 2 coilover you can better adapt the combination of wheels and suspension.

With the KW Variant 2 "inox-line" coilover suspension you have 16 clicks of rebound adjustment. The adjustment of the rebound calibration changes the driving dynamics if you change the rim setup or if you mount winter tires. You can change the damping characteristics of the KW Variant 2 "inox-line" long-lasting, to obtain a stiffer or more comfortable setup depending on your needs.
