After long experience and collaboration with major Teams, the new line of forged pistons for T-JET ABARTH by CPS engines is born.
The new CPS pistons are produced using the best technologies,
aluminum alloys with the perfect balance of silicon, copper and nickel are used in this type of forged piston.
The choice of raw materials combined with the latest design and manufacturing techniques give CPSs particular lightness and strength for increased power as well as engine durability.
CPS forged pistons are entirely designed, developed and manufactured in our factories.
The design phase is followed by braked bench and track testing to ensure the best performance of the pistons in accordance with our strict reliability and performance specifications.
Special attention is paid to the choice of compression and oil scraper piston rings: these are selected according to their tangential load and shape, to ensure excellent sealing, avoiding the blow-by effect (leakage), but without compromising smoothness.
The significant increase in power and longer piston/cylinder life are the tangible results of this painstaking construction process.
