ZRP is a manufacturer of high-tech competition use connecting rods.

ZRP connecting rods are manufactured using Special Steel, and then processed by processes aimed at improving product finish, as well as surface hardening by mechanical procedures:

Specifically, connecting rods once rough machining is completed, are finished by:

    PALLINING: A process necessary for a surface hardening of the steel.
    FIXING BUSHING: Through this process, the half-moons are micrometrically fixed around the bushing.
    BALANCING: As a final process, a balance of the connecting rod is made with a tolerance of +/- 1gr
    CNC MACHINING: By now, all inverted H connecting rods are manufactured through the use of 6-axis CNC lathes. ZRP, however, finishes its product to the thousandth, leaving a scaling of a few tenths as an invitation, at the crankhead. This is made necessary in order to better convey lubricant near the bushing, thus ensuring immediate lubrication. The connecting rod head, on the other hand, is constructed as a single body, and reported with an Aluminum/Silicon alloy. This process allows for optimal radial lubrication.
