Girodisc discs are a plug-and-play replacement for stock discs.
Unlike stock discs, the slotted and directional ventilation are aligned for improved performance.
They can be paired with original or racing pads in the stock caliper.
The disc housing is made of anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, and the slotted braking band is made of cast iron with symmetrical right/left directional ventilation.
The disc is floating thanks to 10 high-strength, corrosion-free pins that allow for axial and radial movement of the band on the housing and differentiated thermal expansion between cast iron and aluminum.
Thanks to this system, the disc automatically centers itself with the pad, ensuring consistently precise braking and proper pad wear.
The pins between the housing and the band feature spring washers to reduce noise.
It is possible to replace just the braking band without also replacing the housing, offering excellent cost-effectiveness.
