This thermal bandage is an absolute novelty on the market; it has a truly new fabric. So-called fibreglass, coated with lava stone. The thermal wrap can be applied without using any kind of spray. It can withstand a continuous temperature of 1150°C and a peak temperature of up to 1400°C.

Its flexibility is exceptional.

Note of caution: The bandage is not designed to be removed after it has been subjected to heat cycles. After the fibres have been heated, they lose their initial flexibility. This does not reduce the thermal properties of the wrap. Be aware of this before deciding to remove the wrap.

Note on Titanium Exhaust Systems: Titanium exhaust wrapping is NOT recommended. The alloys used in the production of Titanium exhaust systems tend to be thin and are designed to dissipate heat quickly. By wrapping the exhaust, the additional heat can make the titanium alloy brittle and prone to premature cracking. We recommend using alternatives such as flexible heat shields when trying to reduce heat on titanium exhaust systems.
