When the exhaust valve is open, the sound becomes significantly deeper and louder, but still hum-free. The performance data refer to the exhaust with Sound Kit and with the valves open. The system without the Sound Kit has a spot welded block in the header pipe which prevents bypass of the muffler. Please note: When the bypass is unlocked, the EC approval becomes invalid. The EC type approval is only valid for vehicles with engine code 312A1000 and 312A3000. Complete the look with a set of refined 115mm titanium or carbon fiber tailpipes. Thanks to Akrapovic technology, you can easily switch from silent mode to a sportier sound. Through a receiver that causes the actuators to open or close the valves in the exhaust pipes, you can use the remote control or the smartphone app (for iOS and Android) to adjust the valves.
